Nothing like a tough, physical action flick to knock you around and drop your jaw. Though it dials down the sexiness quotient, “Quantum” boasts plenty of killer sequences to distract from the lack of anything fresh—as the movie takes too long to establish its diabolical plan and focus its villain. But Almaric is terrific as a baddie who doesn’t need to raise his voice to get what he wants, and Craig continues to find something graceful and suave in 007’s sturdy exterior. No matter how hot the situation, he’s so very cool.
Quantum of Solace: Great Bond Flick?

THE ISSUE
The 22nd James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, is a different kind of Bond film. It contains less romance and lacks much of the humor and playful charm of earlier films in the series. In its place we're presented with a grittier, darker, more "action hero"-focused movie. Is this a 007 for the 21st century?

The name of the film is "Quantum of Solace." Let me repeat that... QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Perhaps the worst title of any movie ever of all time. And you're asking if it's a great Bond film?
Isn't a flock of chickens called a quantum or something? Perhaps it should have been called Quantum of Chickens. Or maybe if it guest starred the guy from Quantum Leap it would have been good.
But otherwise, no way.
